What was the problem / challenge we were solving in this project?
The customer was running out of space and needed more room to store their long-term stock. They had an existing mezzanine office and wanted to utilize the empty space next to it.
What was the solution?
AWS provided a 30m2 mezzanine in the empty warehouse space and used the existing mezzanine staircase as access. The mezzanine was equipped with a perimeter handrail and an access gate.
What were the results?
The customer achieved extra storage space and allowed them to clear up the ground floor work areas allowing them to work more efficiently.

What was the problem / challenge we were solving in this project?
More storage – Faced with not only limited floor area, the mezzanine floor was limited by the roof height, which posed challenges in designing the floor with enough head clearance below and above the floor. In addition, there was minimal room to allow loading onto the mezzanine floor.
What was the solution?
A custom designed and built Mezzanine – AWS was able to maximise the above and below clearance by optimising the design and minimising the floor thickness. We opted for a swing gate instead of a sliding gate to meet the customers needs.
What were the results?
The customer was extremely happy with the result, and the installation team.
